El Rincón de Sanabria in Madrid

"We were on the lookout for something seafoody and Spanish when we randomly stumbled upon this local place—and happily so! There were plenty of goodies to choose from, and we were satisfied with everything we picked. The pulpo might have had an itsy bitsy too much salt, but hey, no casualties.. Aside from that, the service was great (even though we don’t speak Spanish), most items were reasonably priced, and the overall vibe was positive. We did visit during a football game (a solid spot for watching), so it got a bit loud at times—but, that kinda added to the charm!"

The portions were generous, the kind where you don’t leave hungry. Nothing fancy on the plate, but everything tasted honest and satisfying. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed. You could hear conversations around you, families talking, glasses clinking — it felt natural instead of staged. A place where you sit, eat slowly, and stay longer than expected. Service was friendly and casual. Not overly formal, just attentive enough and welcoming.
